Honouring the love of agriculture, viticulture, winemaking and people:
a Roadshow for Vermentino, Artichokes and those (like us) who love them both

It was Attilio and Michela's love which brought Vermentino di Gallura to South Africa. Love for farming, love for agriculture, love for their land and country. This passion being evident in consistently wanting to develop and bring something new to their world of profession, becoming parents of the first Vermentino in South Africa. After sailing the seven seas, the variety had to go through a quarantine period (3 years) required by South African Law and Regulations before being certified for planting. finally, 6 years later, after only 6 allowed buds , 3000 vines of Vermentino di Gallura were finally ready for planting. From their first hectare, the variety is flourishing to many other sites, bringing the total to 35 ha of today's plantings. And again, the love for agriculture, made of Talia the first South African viticulturist to work with this variety in the land and its successful vineyard development and training.
Dusty shoes and happy hearts for Attilio and Talia while planting the first commercial field of artichokes, which "coincidentally" are one of the best match in the food pairing with Vermentino.
And the dream goes on.
The powerful thing about dreams is that they take on a new shape as you grow as a human being and meet other people to grow with you, nourished with new goals. So now, Attilio, Talia and Michela can find expression in Nomoya which encapsulates everything they love about South Africa: agriculture, viticulture, winemaking, and people.
And we promise you, the dreams won't end here. Apart from being a wine producer, we hope to lead the way with exciting initiatives and new adventures, as this Roadshow, which brings people together experiencing the colours and the sounds of magic places of South Africa.
